00:00:00.000 — Open the engagement In Engagements, click Blue River Holdings Limited. Check the client and service year so you open the right job. This fictional engagement has one required document still outstanding. We will collect it through the client portal. 00:00:18.000 — Preview the client portal Click Copy secure link under Move the file forward. Open the copied address in a new tab to see the client experience. Each engagement has its own portal. Here we preview the link ourselves; no client email is sent. 00:00:37.000 — Read the requested documents Read the Requested documents list before choosing a file. The trial balance is already matched. Corporate profile and year-end details is outstanding. Its description tells the client which information to provide, so they can choose the appropriate document. 00:00:56.000 — Upload against the matching request Click Upload beside the corporate profile request and select the fictional profile image. Wait for the upload confirmation. The filename now appears under the request, its status changes to matched, and the Upload button becomes Replace for a revised file. 00:01:16.000 — Use the general inbox when needed If a client is unsure where a document belongs, Choose files for inbox provides a general upload area. Recent uploads shows what arrived. When a request already has a file, Replace lets the client provide a revision. Use the specific request whenever its purpose is clear. 00:01:38.000 — Review the received file Back in the engagement, find Uploads and manual review. The profile image is matched to the selected request, but its detected document type is labelled low confidence. Review the source file and classification before relying on them. Receiving a document does not replace the accountant’s review. 00:02:00.000 — Check collection progress across clients Click Document requests to review collection progress across the practice. Blue River now shows two of two required items received, one hundred percent completion, and no open requests. The tracker helps you distinguish files still waiting on a client from files ready for document review. 00:02:22.000 — Review the file’s activity history In the engagement, click Activity to review the file’s history. The timeline records the profile upload and the match to the request. This gives the next team member context for the handoff. The next tutorial shows how to organize the remaining work and due dates.
